Programmes and  Modules

University of Dundee

The University of Dundee offers a wide variety of on-campus MLitt degree pathways and modules.  Our MLitt in Humanities allows students to select modules from across the entire School of Humanities, while individuals wishing to pursue an MLitt in History can do so through pursuing a specific pathway within the wider Humanities title.  History students will be able to choose modules themed around either Scottish or Global History, and will work closely in conjunction with research centres such as the CSLF to pursue individually-tailored research projects.

More details about our taught masters programmes can be found at https://www.dundee.ac.uk/study/pg/humanities/#info-teaching-and-assessment

In addition to our on-campus masters programmes, the University also offers a fully online distance learning MLitt in Scottish History.

Centre for Scotland’s Land Futures

As part of our growing partnerships with the heritage sector, and our commitment to employability, we have also launched a placement scheme with Mount Stuart, with three undergraduate students undertaking a two-week placement in June 2016.  From 2017 one student will be appointed from each of the partner universities.
