Dr Annie Tindley of the Centre for Scotland’s Land Futures, with Prof. Graeme Morton, of the Centre for Scottish Culture, had a wonderful and productive visit to Mount Stuart, Bute on Wednesday 22 July. They were visiting to discuss future research projects and placements in the magnificent house, collections and archives and we kindly given a guided tour by the Archivist, Lynsey Nairn (herself a Dundee graduate!) and Alice Martin, Head of Collections.
We were not sure what was more exciting: to see a Shakespeare First Folio, or Bonnie Prince Charlie’s sporran!
There is no doubt there are many opportunities for working together and to benefit our students with amazing experiences – so watch this space.
